    Mentors and mentees are carefully matched by the GEC team based on their profiles, education backgrounds, and specific mentoring needs. The aim is to create productive and effective mentorship relationships.
  • Do I need to submit bills for the materials purchased for the program?
    Yes, it is mandatory to submit bills for all materials purchased as part of your initiative. All bills should be in the name of the nominated team member who received the funds for the project. Proper documentation of expenses ensures transparency and responsible use of the allocated funds.
  • Is there funding available for the social initiative?
    GEC recognizes that acts of kindness and social responsibilities do not always require financial support. To encourage teams to explore a wider range of options, each team is provided with funding of up to Rs1000/- to execute their ideas. Teams are asked to submit budget estimations based on their project's needs, and funding is granted based on the evaluation of these estimations, with each team eligible for up to Rs1000/- per team/idea. This approach allows teams to have flexibility in implementing their initiatives while ensuring responsible use of funds.

    GEC requests each team to nominate one designated team member to whom funds will be transferred. The transfer can be facilitated through GPay, UPI ID, or a designated bank account. This nominated team member will be responsible for managing and allocating the funds as needed for the execution of the approved initiative.

    Mentees are expected to actively engage in the mentorship relationship, attend scheduled sessions, and respect their mentor's time and expertise. They should also commit to making a positive impact in society and follow program guidelines.
